Our last night of 2!

Wow, I'm actually feeling very sentimental tonight. It just sort of hit me. My girl is 3 in a matter of hours. I can't say it's gone by really fast, I remember most of it and I would do every day of it again if I could! I took a bunch of video of Josie tonight and had some funny conversations with her. She wasn't as chatty as she has been lately since she's a little under the weather, but this one was pretty funny. (I'm learning to accept my voice on tape since I can't change it. I think everyone hates hearing there voice though don't they?)

Josie is sick today, a little cough and a small fever. I'm hoping that she is better by Friday for her BIG #3 Birthday! You can totally tell she is almost 3, she is talking up a storm and I just love it. I finally get to read to her now too, before she would always take the book from me and want to read on her own. I have a theory that she really wants to know what the book is saying now so that's why she wants us to read it to her. I absolutely love the stage she is in. Curious, playful, sweet, funny, sneaky and just a joy to be around. I'm constantly off task because we are playing so much lately and I'm completely okay with that. However today we are just chillin', a good day to get caught up with work and snuggle with my girl. I am so lucky to be this girlie's momma. :)

Make that 2 days and 3 parks.

Okay technically two parks, but we went to one of them twice. After posting today we spontaneously headed back to our new favorite park. We were really excited to feed the ducks and play in the water. We had so much fun and it was absolutely gorgeous out tonight, it was very peaceful! We had a great encounter with a very friendly squirrel too. It was nice to be out with Daddy, he's been working a lot lately!

Dancing with the Stars - Jewel!!!

I'm so excited for Monday. I still can't believe that Jewel is going to be a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. YAY for me! She has so much determination and I've seen her do so many great things and she always amazes me. Did I mention I was excited?
